Red Razor was born in 2011 in Florianópolis, Brazil, a city internationally famous for it’s beaches, surf and rich tourists with their shinny cars during summertime. Tired of the local scene, over populated by reggae and soft rock bands, the boys decided to follow a more agressive path.
The desire to make heavy music able to reflect their way of thinking, the causes that they believe and the respect for the underground but without losing their sense of humor gave the band the opportunity to tour around several regions of Brazil and to win some prizes both national (Top 10 best albums of 2015 by several media services in Brazil) and international (independent band of the month by Rock Hard Magazine in Germany).
2019 will see the release of the band’s sophomore record, called “The Revolution Continues”, the first with Daniel Rosick on guitars. The record was recorded, mixed and mastered by Alexei Leão at AML Studio. Besides the band’s thrash metal, this record also incorporates some influences by death metal and other genres, something that can be already seen in the record’s first single “Born in South America”..
